This book consists of a number of poems constructed through the usage of both English and Jamaican words that will express the varied subject matters relating to both personal and society experiences through the usage of language . This is not entirely the first time in literature that languages have been combined to speak the written word, there are similarities when we look at the iconic Shakespeare. Not only did his penmanship combine both English and some Latin but he also contributed many new words that we still currently use today.
