She tell you about her abusive situations and how it took her to find God to come out of them. Then after finding her God she still continues to struggle. The Over comer is a book about who was on drugs, became a call girl went through life's depression but yet still maintain her mind. When you read and some can relate but other that cannot do sit in judgment and ask why didn't she just leave or come out, because their are times when it's just hard for a abuse victim to do.
