It is March of 1942. The war is almost four months old. The United States is falling behind on all fronts. Except for the attack on the islands of Hawaii, the threat of a fight on American soil is looked upon as slight. A man arrives in New York with an outline for the first attack on California and the west coast. James Breck is given a small assignment that turns into one of the most challenging in his carrier that spans the country above and below.
