After many years of trying, the king and queen of Masstonia are childless. That is about to come to an end. The queen is pregnant, and the entire country is celebrating the coming of the baby's birth. The pregnancy is full term, and the delivery takes place without a flaw. Unfortunately, the baby is born with severe head and facial deformities. The king and queen still cherish him, but others are not so kind. Years after his birth and following all his education, he is to make a presentation at the United Nations Building in New York City. The night before his presentation and outside his hotel, the prince is attacked by two thugs looking to rob him. They beat him in an alley, steal his wallet, and would continue beating him if it weren't for a lady passing by. She stops them and takes the prince to a hospital for treatment. There, part of his lower face deformities are repaired. What follows is first, the prince's attempt to thank the lady for her kindness and assistance in his time of need. Then, a long-distance relationship begins that allows him to communicate with her without revealing his looks. That lasts for several months until it is time for him to make another presentation at the United Nations General Assembly. He still has many deformities and is very hesitant to meet her. Once they do meet, the romance surprisingly continues.
