This US Army manual, Training Circular TC 3-34.500 Construction Qualification Tables September 2020, provides a training strategy for squads and platoons to attain engineer task proficiency by executing tasks to standard. This enables engineers to gain proficiency in providing support through execution of general engineering, mobility, countermobility, and survivability tasks efficiently in any operational environment. The principal audience for TC 3-34.500 are the commanders and trainers of engineer construction units. TC 3-34.500 is written using a plan, prepare, execute, and assess methodology. This publication applies to all construction engineer units. TC 3-34.500 includes the planning and preparation required for a successful engineer qualification-training program for engineer construction organizations.
