Orphaned and alone, Destiny must make her own way in the world. With the help of an old friend she finds a position in Lord Byron's mansion where she begins to make new friends. But soon things begin to go amiss for Destiny when Mark Byron decides that she is to be his next conquest. And before long a grave misunderstanding threatens any chance she may have for happiness.
