The songs are a mix of chestnuts ( swings croon their way through a stately version of and a vocal chorus tackle and does a nice version of ) and newly composed numbers. These are a mixed bag of sappy ( 's ), earnest pleas for holiday cheer ( ' which is a strange mix of , , and ), tough bluesy tracks ( ), and cheesy songs ( ' typically unfunny ). It is a pretty skimpy collection and is a bit too scattered to be a very satisfying listen. ~ Tim Sendra
