This a study of "Valentine's Day" in the opinions of the U.S. Federal Courts. All of the cases cited are U.S. Federal Court opinions that include the phrase Valentine's Day. Words and phrases that are near "Valentine's Day" in those court opinions are arranged here, out of context, to become a word cloud with footnotes. This cut-up analysis explores the cultural associations of Valentine's Day and is itself a surrealist love poem intended as a Valentine's Day gift for law lovers.
