Inspired by Anton Chekhov's short story "The Kiss" and Tennessee Williams' "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," this is the story of Dagny Haven, a young woman who has the perfect job, house, and fiance. Or so she thinks. When she volunteers with the local theater in the small town of Dunham, Mississippi, she finds her world turned upside-down and questions whether or not the white picket fence is the life for her. With her best girlfriends, Jules and Katie, along for the ride she starts to savor the spontaneity of the life the theater gang lives. She wonders whether she'll be able to return to her regularly scheduled life when the lights go up...
